It’s been a year since the pandemic struck, and although we’re starting to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, impacts from COVID-19 have pushed child hunger to record levels: 27% of children under 18 are food insecure. That’s more than 2.2 million California kids facing hunger this year in the face of a pandemic. Committed to helping California families facing hunger, the California Milk Processor Board, creators of ‘got milk?’ and ‘toma leche’ have partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign. 

How can you help?

Through June 30th, each #StayStrongTogether post celebrating strength, resilience and the human spirit shared and engaged with on Instagram and Twitter raises a $1 donation for the No Kid Hungry campaign from ‘got milk?’ to help contribute meals towards the 1 million meals goal*.

All you have to do is share or like a post with the hashtag #StayStrongTogether, mention @gotmilk or @tomaleche, and tag two friends to join the movement!

Whatever your strength, there’s a way you can share it to help kids and create child hunger solutions. In the time it takes for you to capture and post a selfie, you can connect a child with up to 10 healthy meals – fueling their lives, their learning and their dreams.

So grab a glass of milk, snap a pic and help us #StayStrongTogether to provide meals to children in need. 

*Every dollar donated to No Kid Hungry® can help provide up to 10 healthy meals including nutritious foods like milk, to help ensure no kid goes hungry.  From May 10, 2021 through June  30, 2021 each engagement received on a #StayStrongTogether post, generates a $1 No Kid Hungry(R) donation from the California Milk Processor Board, with a guaranteed minimum commitment of $50,000 and a maximum commitment of $100,000 for a goal of up to 1 million meals. *$1 can provide up to 10 meals.
